We are seeking an experienced Operations and Manufacturing Lead to join our team in Bergen County, NJ. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our brand-new manufacturing facility.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing production activities, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and coordinating with Engineers and additional team members to establish best practices for assembly, automation, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee production activities, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and coordinating with Engineers and additional team members.
2. Monitor manufacturing costs, expenses, and budget adherence to maximize efficiency.
3. Develop staffing plans, oversee production schedules, and workflow processes to optimize efficiency.
4. Track inventory, materials usage, and waste reduction initiatives to drive cost savings.

Requirements and Qualifications

1. A minimum of 10 years of experience managing in a manufacturing environment with ISO and Lean manufacturing experience required.
2. The ideal candidate should have hands-on leadership qualities, be able to foster a collaborative and results-driven culture focused on efficiency and continuous improvement, and provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to production teams.
3. Additionally, they should have experience in cost tracking, budget management, and expense control in a manufacturing setting.

• The salary for this position is $165,000 - $175,000 (potentially higher for the right candidate), and the work schedule is one shift operation from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
