Payroll Administrator needed for growing construction - heavy equipment company in the Bronx New York. Great culture - fun friendly staff.
Fulltime - onsite 5 days a week

Salary $60-75K range
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of payroll process for a union construction company
- Gather timesheets from supervisors, enter into spreadsheet and upload into payroll system
- Generate payroll checks, allocate union stamps and weekly benefit payments, prepare payroll distribution
- Process new hire paperwork and track employee certifications
- Deal with payroll questions and resolving issues
- Payment and Reconciliation of union remittances
- Handle Unemployment Insurance Claims, Levies and Garnishments
- Prepare monthly certified payrolls, monthly workers compensation reports
- Annual update union rates and benefits
- Coordinate with external union insurance auditors for payroll audits
- Assist in other areas of Accounting as needed
Qualifications
- Must have payroll experience
- Union experience a plus
- Bi-lingual Spanish a plus
- Strong computer Microsoft Excel
- Experience with either Payroll for Construction or Foundations payroll software a plus
