Job Description:
The payroll Administrator process, prepare, and analyze the staff payrolls.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process payroll in Colleague.
- Check for outliers. Contact employees and supervisors to complete entering time and approvals.
- Run the BA, BU and SM payrolls following the steps laid out in the payroll processing checklist.
- Run and save all reports pertaining to the specific payroll in the correct payroll files.
- Print checks and prepare reports and emails for the accounting dept. to upload to the bank.
- Work with Human Resources to ensure proper pay and deductions.
- Prepare payroll tax reports for each payroll run.
- Prepare and execute journal entries for tax and other journal entries for payroll.
- Various payroll reports as requested.
- Complete other assignments from the Payroll Coordinator.
- Keep the Manual check log up to date.
- File, analyze and keep payroll information organized.
- Follow the payroll schedule and ensure the processes are done in a timely manner. Be aware of the payroll schedule when planning time.
- Mail and distribute paychecks.
- Work with employees with questions and concerns about their paychecks.
- Work with multiple offices and people to ensure payroll information is correct and up to date

Qualifications:
Education:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Experience:
3 years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Hours Expectation:
Full-time, 35 hours per week
