Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Flooring Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will engage with customers, assist them in selecting flooring options, and ensure a seamless and positive shopping experience. Your previous experience in flooring sales will be essential to your success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to customers throughout the purchasing process
  • Generate accurate quotes for customers
  • Execute order entry processes
  • Document and monitor customer interactions in our software system
  • Maintain an organized showroom and ensure proper handling of samples
  • Cultivate new accounts through proactive outreach
  • Strengthen existing client relationships
  • Establish and nurture connections with decision-makers to enhance customer loyalty and lead generation
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed, including phone inquiries and appointment scheduling

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail sales environment, preferably in flooring
  • Basic proficiency in computer usage
  • Demonstrated history of successful sales performance
  • Strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction
  • Self-motivated individual with a proactive mindset
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines
  • Proven track record of developing new business and fostering client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
