Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a Production Manager at a Biotechnology company located between Columbus and Akron Ohio. The overall responsibility of the Production Manager is to supervise members of the Production team and oversee the aseptic production of the company’s products.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage the day-to-day operations of aseptic manufacturing of various products
- Schedule and manage employees on the manufacturing team
- Hire, retain, train, and develop the manufacturing team
- Develop a culture of safety and safe practices
- Manage inventory levels and expiration dates and adjust inventory to meet customer needs
- Work with Building and Equipment Maintenance to keep production equipment functioning and in good repair
- Perform preventative maintenance and maintain an inventory of critical parts
- Work with other Managers to resolve manufacturing problems / issues
- Work with Quality Manager on process improvement and implementation
- Work with R & D in development of new products
