Electrical System Design (Wire Harness)
- Location: (ONSITE) - Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina
- Duration: 3 year contract - estimated to end 3/2028 (Opportunity for contract extension or possibility for internal hire)
- Type: W2 contract - ***Third-party or C2C "Corp-to-Corp" arrangements WILL NOT be considered for this role.)***

Job Duties
- Apply sound engineering practices to create and commercialize robust, reliable, and economical wiring harness designs for commercial mowers and golf mowers.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to design and integrate E/E systems.
- Support manufacturing, quality, and customer support teams for vehicle electrical systems in a production environment.
- Assemble mule vehicle electrical systems, perform software bring-up, execute vehicle diagnostics, and support V&V testing.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Product engineering experience on off-road or commercial vehicles
- Technical experience with electrical systems and/or embedded systems
- Direct experience with automation and CAD tools (e.g. CHS, Creo)
- Working knowledge and skills of vehicle electrical system design including schematic capture, harness routing, wiring diagrams, and product data management.
- Familiar with network interface tools and diagnostic protocols (CANalyzer, CANape, UDS, XCP)
- Demonstrated knowledge of the design and application for EMC qualification.
- Proven knowledge of vehicle systems, diesel engine systems, hydraulic systems, lift systems, x-by-wire, and network communications (J1939 CAN, LIN, SPE, USB).
Required Skills
- 4 Years of direct experience working as an electrical/electronic engineer.
- 4 years of technical experience relating to design of electrical systems and/or embedded systems.
- 4 years of product engineering experience in off-road commercial vehicles or automotive.
- 4 years of experience with design automation and CAD tools.
