Lab Analyst I/II
Location: Miami, FL
Shift: Monday - Friday, 4pm - 12:30 am (alternative weekend shift also available upon request)
Pay: $65,000-$85,000
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing raw materials, in-process materials, and finished pharmaceutical products for quality, safety, purity, strength, and identity using applicable methods.
- Prepare reagents, solvents, and solutions for analytical and formulation activities.
- Independently set up and operate lab equipment
- Accurately document all testing performed in lab notebooks and process analytical data on lab equipment such as HPLC/UPLC. Enter data into spreadsheets and conduct routine calculations.
- Adhere to cGMP, EH&S, and relevant guidelines set by Corporate, FDA, and other governing bodies.
- Support the manufacture of drug products and prepare samples.
- Perform equipment qualification and calibrations as directed.
- Participate in project activities, support project timelines, and proactively contribute to meeting team objectives.
- Communicate effectively with team members and establish and maintain effective relationships.
- Conduct lab work following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Test Procedures (STPs) and adhere to health and safety rules and procedures.
Requirements:
- BS in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related fields
- Level 1: 0-2 years of experience in Pharmaceutical R&D
- Level 2: 3 years of experience in Pharmaceutical R&D OR MS in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related fields with 0-2 years of experience in Pharmaceutical R&D
- Experience with analytical and/or process equipment used in laboratories such as HPLC, IR/FTIR, UV-Vis AA, or powder blenders.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
