Manufacturing Quality Expert

Job Description

Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Quality Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the performance of our Performance Alloys and Composites manufacturing operations.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Support the development and execution of annual Quality plans for assigned areas
2. Develop and maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of AS9100D / ISO 9001:2015 quality standard
3. Manage customer complaints, material reviews, and 8Ds in assigned areas
4. Participate in or facilitate corrective action teams to identify and implement improvements and permanent corrective actions

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• BS in engineering, chemistry, materials science, metallurgy, or related field
• Continuous Improvement skills resulting in significant cost savings
• Experience in quality engineering, preferably in a metals manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of AS9100D / ISO 9001:2015 quality systems
• Problem-solving skills and experience with customer complaints, corrective actions, and 8Ds
