Key Responsibilities :
As the Quality Lead , you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing a dedicated team of Quality Technicians to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

Your responsibilities will include :
1. Interim Management of Quality Technicians
Lead and manage a team of Quality Technicians to ensure product conformity with customer, company, and regulatory standards. Supervise work schedules, timecard approvals, job assignments, training, and employee time off.
2. Internal Audits and Corrective Actions
Actively participate in internal audits to pinpoint areas of non-conformance.
Drive the implementation of corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Track corrective actions and maintain records for compliance.
3. Food Safety and Quality Issue Management
Take immediate action to resolve food safety and quality issues, minimizing impact on production. Communicate food safety and QA concerns to senior management as necessary.
4. Sample Collection and Quality Programs
Oversee the collection and submission of product samples, ensuring they meet quality control standards. Ensure accurate recording of test results and sample status.
5. Quality Improvement Activities
Partner with production shift leaders to drive quality and consistency. Conduct root cause analysis on holds and complaints, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
6. Compliance Reporting
Maintain detailed records of quality control activities.
Prepare and submit reports on food safety, quality issues, corrective actions, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements :
Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, ideally within a food manufacturing or similar regulated environment.
Better Process Control Aseptic Certification, required
Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in food safety and quality control issues.
Ability to conduct audits and implement corrective actions.
Familiarity with compliance reporting and quality improvement processes.
