Quality Control Chemist

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a QC Chemist near Cincinnati, OH.

Job Title: QC Chemist

Position Type: Contract-to-Hire

Shift: 12-hour shift (6:00 pm – 6:00 am) 2-2-3 rotating

Compensation: $52,000 ($25.00/hr) 10% shift differential = $57,200

Education Requirements:

• Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (No work experience required).
• Option 2: Associate of Science Degree with at least 2 years of Quality Control (QC) work experience.
• Option 3: Associate Degree in Chemistry or equivalent with at least 4 years of QC work experience.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical, physical, and performance testing in line with established policies and procedures, supporting 24/7 chemical manufacturing operations.
• Analyze raw materials, in-process materials, and finished product samples.
• Perform data entry, generate and file records, set up laboratory equipment, and perform calibrations.
• Recommend and initiate corrective actions for laboratory and product nonconformances.
• Support and adhere to safety, quality, 5S, ISO, GMP, and housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvements in quality, environmental, and safety processes.
