Kelly Government Solutions is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Therapeutic Medical Physicist to join our team in Long Beach, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, making a meaningful impact on the lives of our nation's veterans.
We are also looking for a BC, Chief Therapeutic Medical Physicist, PhD to fill the leadership role for the facility.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all physics and dosimetry operations, ensuring compliance with national guidelines.
- Perform advanced QA procedures, acceptance testing, and commissioning of linear accelerators.
- Provide peer reviews of treatment plans to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Develop and maintain quality management programs (QMPs) for radiotherapy equipment.
- Ensure radiation protection for patients and staff, adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists during complex simulations and treatment setups.
