We are currently seeking a Biological Scientist with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD
This is a long-term contract position which offers:

TASKS. The contractor shall:
- Follow clinical laboratory guidelines to produce cells for administration to patients.
- Maintain accurate, detailed research record.
- Analyze and interpret data; synthesize, compile and summarize results in reports.
- Attend laboratory meetings; present results and findings for staff discussion.
- Design and perform experiments; work with clinical cell production facility staff to develop new cell production procedures.
- Perform procedures including tumor cell culture, T cell culture, T cell phenotype and function assays, flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISPOT, DNA cloning, viral vector design and production, gene expression assays and mouse models of disease.
- Perform immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence assays.
- Conduct research to develop CAR-T cell treatments.
- Perform pre-clinical validation of immunotherapies in mouse models.
REQUIREMENTS. The contractor must have:
- Ph.D. in Biology, Life Sciences or a related discipline
- Min 2 yrs research exp in T cell culture, T cell Phenotype, Tcell Function assays
- Min 2 yrs exp in T-cell Function assays incl flow cytometry ELISA
- Research experience with mouse models of disease including inoculations, bleedings and tissue dissections.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
