Inventory Control Clerks needed in Melrose Park, Illinois
20 / hr
SHIFT
2pm – 12 : 30am
Sunday – Wednesday and Wednesday – Saturday
PURPOSE :
To verify store order case counts, research and report discrepancies, and recap audit results for weekly
reports. To perform cycle counts in home slot locations and reserves.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS :
Accountable and Reports to : Inventory Control Supervisor / Inventory Control Manager
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Verify total case count and specific items, assembled by warehouse assemblers to store invoice
- Reconciles physical and financial inventories in LCS
- Report discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor
- Recap audit results for weekly reporting
- Compares and reconciles physical inventory cycle counts to those maintained in the inventory system
- Completes appropriate research to determine cause as to why pallets cannot be slotted by the inventory system
- Completes necessary system maintenance to ensure accurate inventory accountability
- Completes warehouse case maintenance, i.e. physically measuring case dimensions, verifying slot
heights and performing necessary computer entries
