1 st Shift : 8 : 00am – 4 : 30pm, Monday through Friday (possible OT on Saturday)
19.00 per hour
What’s a typical day as an Warehouse Associate?
Read production schedules and work orders to determine required items to move, gather, or distribute.
Convey materials from receiving or storage areas to production, staging areas, or other designated locations.
Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences (size, type, style, color, product code).
Mark materials with identifying information.
Open bales, crates, and other containers.
Record quantities of materials received or distributed.
Weigh or count items to ensure conformance with company standards.
Use computer systems to enter and maintain records, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
Adhere to quality measures by accurately picking and communicating lot numbers and expiration dates.
Qualifications :
Education & Experience :
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and / or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer experience preferred, with the ability to learn and function in SAP and Microsoft Office environments. Skills :
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence and present information effectively in one-on-one situations.
Proficient in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
