Seeking a Sales Representative for a Digital air cargo booking platform and new customer acquisition. Headquarters in Cambridge, MA, (VC-backed startup) with approximately 20 employees and growing.
Location : Chicago, IL
Salary : Annual total compensation : $70k - $85k Incentive Bonus (based on sales contribution)
Job Type : Remote and field sales environment
Candidate Requirements :
- Proficient in English (mandatory).
- Over 5 years of experience in acquiring new customers in air cargo sales for major IATA, IAC (Non-IATA), Non-IAC forwarders based in the U.S., especially in cities like Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Houston, LA
- Serious, responsible, and able to manage hundreds of customers accurately and proactively communicate with them (mandatory).
- Must be self-motivated to make dozens of cold calls daily and generate leads.
- Attend industry network events and meet with prospects.
- Able to work independently in a remote environment, but also required to do field sales (mandatory).
- Must maintain regular communication with the sales team and operations to ensure sales goals are being met (mandatory).
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
