Position Summary:
The Accounting Clerk provides financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring the company properly records customer and vendor transactions, while resolving discrepancies in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Assist accounts payable with vendor invoices, data input, A/P invoice matching, and weekly check run
- Assist accounts receivable with processing invoices/credits, applying cash receipts and collections
- Assist with month end closing through input of journal entries and helping with account reconciliations
- Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from customers, sales, accounting, and customer service
- Review vendor statements for outstanding credits and invoices
- Answers email, phone, and customer ticket inquiries
- Assist with audit requests and other special projects as needed

Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
