Are you a Sales and Business Development Leader with experience in heavy duty or power sports vertical markets?
Through business development activities, grow sales by prospecting new/current customers to win new programs. Responsible for business development within targeted accounts or verticals from prospecting to lead qualification to quote to close. Deeply understand and apply market opportunities to Kem Krest, including prospective clients in current Kem Krest verticals in heavy duty, power sports and automotive.
Candidate must live within 3 hours of the following metro areas: Detroit, Milwaukee, or Indianapolis. Competitive base salary sales incentive program.
Objective: Grow sales through business development activities, targeting new and current.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:
· Prospect leads through research and marketing efforts.
· Understand and apply market opportunities in heavy duty, power sports, and automotive sectors.
· Attend industry events to generate leads and reinforce the brand.
· Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
· Provide feedback to improve marketing strategy and product offerings.
2. Business Development and Negotiation:
· Achieve new program awards, focusing on programs with $3M-$10M annual sales.
· Align Kem Krest capabilities with customer needs.
· Negotiate contracts and SOWs to protect against future issues.
· Provide industry insights to drive commercial and investment growth.
· Maintain and grow relationships with new and prospective customers.
· Ensure smooth handover to account management once programs are implemented.
3. Program Launch Project Oversight:
· Launch larger, complex programs with urgency.
· Communicate updates and handle escalations.
· Ensure contract requirements are met through implementation.
· Drive the launch process to meet milestones and deadlines.
4. Revenue Generation and KPI Achievement:
· Meet annual revenue and KPI targets.
· Track sales metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
· Prospect new opportunities and increase closure rates.
· Advise on growth targets and lead RFQ delivery.
· Consult on selling and pricing strategies for new customers and markets.
