Accounting Operations Specialist

Position Summary:

Wilson Investment Management is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Operations Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting and investment operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• General Cash Management:
• Process cash receipts and disbursements.
• Obtain consent for cash distributions.
• Monitor cash flow for individuals and family office.
• Assist with cash flow modeling for investment partnerships.
• Basic Accounting:
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate entity bookkeeping records.
• Code credit card transactions.
• Reporting Backup:
• Assist with monthly performance reporting packages. 
• Support performance reporting activities.
• Update and track weekly trades in the underlying investment portfolios.
• Other Duties:
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
• Process invoices through Bill.com.
• Track insurance policies and related information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
