Kemo Sabe is a unique, fast-moving retail store that provides a high level of customer service to create a shopping experience like no other. Our store is full of handmade, high quality cowboy hats, boots, sterling silver belt buckles, diamonds, and turquoise, among other incredible goods and accessories. The Door Host is the first face that most customers will see. As a representative of the company, the Door Host should be friendly, outgoing, and coolheaded, with the ability to control the flow of customers in a hectic atmosphere, and do so in a respectful manner. Pay for this position is $27/hr. This is a part-time position, to be paid as a 1099 employee. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Communicating with customers waiting in line about our one-on-one shopping experience
- Entertaining and chatting with customers who are in line
- Mopping and sweeping the front walkway upon arrival
- Bussing glassware to the bar
- Reporting to store MOD and bar/events managers
- Trash removal at end of shift
- Assisting events team with setup as needed
- Learning the locations of key items within the store
- Understanding and following our VIP Black Card program and procedures
- Checking IDs at the door
- Serving non-alcoholic drinks to guests waiting in line
- Involving management when encountering difficult customers
- Checking bathroom cleanliness/restocking as needed
- Keeping front walkway clean and clear of all trash
- Keeping coffee bar replenished in winter season
Salary : $27
