Kemper interns will be exposed to the following concepts and experiences:
- Learn and understand the procurement process to become integrated in the day-to-day support of the team
- Support sourcing managers with specific tasks and initiatives
- Conduct market research and data analysis and share results with the team
- Understand the contract review process to assist managers
- Assist with Requests for Proposals
- Junior or Senior status enrolled at Northwestern University or University of Chicago
- Qualifying majors in an academic area related to Supply Chain Management or financial services/insurance industry, such as, finance, data analytics, communications, accounting, or business administration
- Non-business majors are welcome if strong interest in financial services and/or insurance industry
- A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale
- This position is a hybrid role and may require work in the office 3-4 days a week
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
