Responsibilities
As a Finance Intern, you will assist in the daily operations of our finance department, focusing on key areas such as auditing, financial reporting, expense management, and payroll administration. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals to ensure accuracy in financial processes, and contribute to the development of reports and strategies that drive business success.
- Auditing: Assist with internal audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Help identify discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data across various reports.
- Expense Management: Help track and analyze company expenses, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Assist in the preparation of expense reports for review.
- Payroll Administration: Support the payroll team in processing employee wages, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and addressing payroll-related inquiries.
- Data Entry and Documentation: Maintain accurate financial records and assist in organizing documents for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Ad-hoc Financial Tasks: Assist with other financial projects and administrative tasks as required by the finance team
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar tools is a plus).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
