Ken Spears Construction, Inc. specializes in the remodeling of kitchens, baths and room additions. We have been in business since 1975 and have a awesome client base in DeKalb and Kane Counties.
We are seeking a creative and driven Sales and Design Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in residential Design-Build to provide exceptional service to our clients. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, presenting design solutions, and managing accounts effectively. If you have a passion for design and a knack for sales, this position is perfect for you.
Salary plus commission and mileage reimbursement.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.
- Screen inquiries, schedule consultations, and manage client through the process.
- Meet clients on-site to discuss project goals, budget, and inital scope of work.
- May create initial rough draft designs using Chief Architect.
- Create and present ballpark estimates, helping clients make informed decisions.
- Communicate regulary with prospects.
- Maintain organized projectfiles, notes, and pictures.
- Work closely with the Design and Production and attend onsite walkthroughs to develop detailed and accurate proposal.
- Stay updated on industry trends and sales techniques.
- Participate in sales meetings, training, and strategy development.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure satisfaction and successful sales.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Develop and maintain networking plan with potential lead generation sources.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in residential sales and estimating.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Job Tread software a plus.
- Experience in Chief Architect CAD software for creating inital designs
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close sales effectively.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively to clients.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
