Definition
Under the general direction and supervision of the Nikiski Fire Service Area (NFSA) Fire Chief or their designee, and physician sponsor when appropriate, the Firefighter I / EMT I - Paramedic performs emergency procedures in order to preserve and maintain life and property.
Firefighters are also responsible for maintaining facilities, apparatus and equipment.
Residency : The Firefighter must reside within the boundaries set forth by the Nikiski Fire Service Area Chief.
- Salary does not include additional pay incentives.
