About us
Kenai Peninsula Housing Initiatives, Inc is a non-profit housing developer based in Homer, AK. We own, develop and manage rental housing across the Kenai Peninsula Borough for low income persons, senior citizens and supportive housing for mentally disabled adults.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties, including but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system.
- Answer telephone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.
- Provide general support to visitors and tenants.
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails.
- Ensure operation of office equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in an office or receptionist role is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Online is highly preferred.

The schedule for this position is flexible and can range from low part time to full time. Pay range is determined based upon a determined work schedule and experience. A 90-day probationary period applies to all new hires to ensure a good fit for the employee and employer.

Pay: $15,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
