What are the responsibilities and job description for the REHABILITATION AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES AIDE position at Kendal-Crosslands Communities?
The primary function of this position is to promote the optimal treatment conditions under the direction of the clinical staff by safely providing treatment set ups, assisting with treatments according to prescribed guidelines. Ensuring efficient operation of the rehabilitation, fitness and homecare departments by performing clerical responsibilities, scheduling, insurance verification and providing effective customer service.
Qualifications and Experience:
Preferred experience with scheduling, time keeping, and/or logistics experience with continual staff interaction. This experience is preferred to be in a senior living health care environment utilizing an electronic scheduling and/or logistics software system. Must possess excellent communication skills, advanced computer skills and the ability to coordinate, collaborate and facilitate with residents, family and staff.
Physical Demands:
Walking, sitting, standing, and bending most of the day. Able to push, pull, and assist with transfers of residents weighing up to 250 pounds including wheelchair transport on indoor and outdoor surfaces. Lift various offices supplies and equipment occasionally up to 100lbs.
