About the Role:
As a QC Inspector at our Wholesale Trade company located in Canby, OR, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for conducting inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards. Your attention to detail and ability to identify defects will be essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the industry. You will work closely with our production team to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to prevent quality issues from occurring in the future. Overall, your contributions will be critical in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible products.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a quality control role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards
- Identify and document defects and non-conformities, and work with the production team to implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and tests performed, and report any quality issues to management
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement in the production process
- Ensure that all equipment and tools used in the inspection process are properly calibrated and maintained
Skills:
As a QC Inspector, you will use your attention to detail and ability to identify defects to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will also use your communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other departments and report any quality issues to management. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the industry. Additionally, your experience with statistical process control and familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems will be beneficial in identifying areas for improvement in the production process.
Days to be determined. 5:00am - 1:30pm, schedule is tentative as it will change depending on production needs. Weekends are required during the season.
