Position Summary:
Kendal at Lexington seeks an experienced, dynamic Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales team and drive strategic marketing initiatives. This position plays a critical role in achieving occupancy goals, managing marketing content and design, and nurturing prospective resident leads. The role also involves overseeing communications, supervising Marketing Associates, and serving as a member of the Core Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Direct and mentor the sales and marketing team, providing daily guidance and performance evaluations.
- Occupancy Goals: Achieve budgeted occupancy targets and provide monthly reports to the CFO and Finance Committee.
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute marketing initiatives, including website management, social media, SEO, paid ads, email campaigns, newsletters, and print materials.
- CRM Oversight: Manage lead tracking, CRM databases, and marketing automation systems.
- Event Management: Organize and manage on-site and virtual events to engage prospective residents.
- Reputation Management: Monitor online reviews, address concerns, and promote positive feedback.
- Resident Relations: Foster positive relationships with residents and assist in coordinating move-in processes.
- Community Engagement: Build relationships within local and surrounding communities to enhance the Kendal at Lexington brand.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Master’s degree preferred).
- Five or more years of experience in marketing, sales, business, or non-profit organizations (senior living experience highly desirable).
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, website content management, and marketing automation tools.
- Exceptional written communication and digital engagement skills.
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for working with older adults and maintaining confidentiality.

Physical Demands:
