About Us:
Kendal at Lexington is a vibrant community dedicated to providing exceptional service and care to our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundskeeper to join our team and help maintain the beautiful grounds of our facility.
Position: Full-Time Groundskeeper
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (with occasional weekends as needed)
Pay: Starting at $20.40/Hr.
Job Summary:
As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the exterior of our community, including landscaping, mowing, planting, and general upkeep of the grounds. Your contributions will ensure a welcoming and safe environment for our residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance of lawns, gardens, and landscaping.
- Mow, trim, and edge lawns as needed.
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees, and maintain flower beds.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools.
- Ensure walkways and outdoor areas are clean and free of debris.
- Assist with snow removal and winter maintenance as required.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects and respond to maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred.
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques and maintenance.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
