What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman Painter position at Kendall Auto Group?

Duties include:
- Prime and sand all panels
- Have ability to tint and spray single, two and three stage paints
- Have experience spraying water base paint.
- Ability to do precision masking to prevent overspray
- Be able to finish sand a vehicle for dirt in the paint
- Install tape stripes
- Install small to medium size decals
- Needs to have own spray guns
- Be able to follow procedures in the paint shop including the ability to organize and paint vehicles from a production list
- Follow repair estimates and insurance company processes.
- Move and park vehicles as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in work area.
- Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:Previous shop experience is preferred. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
Work is performed indoors in a shop environment, tool usage includes mechanic's hand and power tools that produce significant vibration and force, standing and walking will be required for entire work shift in order to complete job duties. Pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling will be required frequently to access all parts of vehicles being worked on. Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling weights and forces from 15 to 80 pounds occasionally required.
