What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Staffing Specialist position at Kendall Dealership Holdings LLC?
Kendall Auto Group, a premier employer in the Treasure Valley, has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Staffing Specialist. The focus of the position is to primarily support the Human Resources Department in efficiently executing Human Resources related administrative functions for over 2,000 employees in all states Kendall operates in. This is not a remote position and requires on-site work in Meridian, Idaho.
Duties/Essential Job Tasks:
- Perform background checks on candidates.
- Perform hiring and onboarding/orientation tasks.
- Order employee business cards and name badges.
- Enter data into a variety of computer applications.
- Compile data for reports.
- Answer the phone and provide callers with basic HR information.
- Contact other staff to obtain basic information and make reminders or needed actions.
- Various additional HR tasks are required.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least two years of office experience (required), experience conducting background check investigations preferred.
- Have strong grammar, data entry, organization, time management and interpersonal communication skills.
- Have proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Have strong problem-solving skills
- Be able to accurately process a high volume of detailed information in an environment with frequent interruptions.
- Have a high level of professionalism, discretion and maintain confidential information.
- Have basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook).
- Be proficient with internet and multiple windows open.
- Be comfortable with completing repetitive tasks.
Working conditions are in an office environment, spending up to the full work shift working on PC display screens and with telephone systems. Standing and/or walking for short distances throughout the work shift may occur.
