The Business Development Manager is responsible for building and maintaining the customer pipeline, supporting Regional Managers prospecting for existing and new clients, and helping manage several Key Accounts. Essential Functions : Generate New Business opportunities - Identify and qualify new business opportunities with Existing and Net New Clients (e.g. get XKIG on new bid lists) Create and execute Regional Sales Prospecting, Territory, and Key Account plans Lead Bi-Weekly Regional Sales Meetings (review pipeline, prospecting activities, and marketing events, etc) Generate and maintain weekly and monthly reporting for Key Accounts. Facilitate and maintain successful relationships with customersParticipate with Monthly and Quarterly meetings with key clientsPrepare quarterly Customer Scorecards Assist Regional Managers with annual contract renewalsFollow up with existing contacts (customers and non-customers) to ensure XKIG is still on bid lists General Business Development activitiesRepresent XKIG at trade shows and conferencesPrepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual (internal) Management ReportsTrack prospecting activities and opportunities in CRMMonitor Bid Boards for potential bidding opportunities.Work with Contracts Department to ensure rate increases and renewal bids are submitted as required.Other projects and functions as assigned by the Director, Business DevelopmentCompetencies : Sales, marketing and business development acumen.Excellent analytic, communication, writing, and presentation skills.Able to communicate easily and clearly with potential customers, field managers, supervisors, and senior executives.Education and Experience : Five or more years of business development or marketing experience.Fluent use of Microsoft Office products and a variety of CRM tools.Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or other Business Intelligence tools desiredBachelor's degree in business management or marketing. A combination of equivalent education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
