The Business Development Manager is responsible for building and maintaining the customer pipeline, supporting Regional Managers prospecting for existing and new clients, and helping manage several Key Accounts.
Essential Functions :
- Generate New Business opportunities – Identify and qualify new business opportunities with Existing and Net New Clients (e.g. get XKIG on new bid lists)
- Create and execute Regional Sales Prospecting, Territory, and Key Account plans
- Lead Bi-Weekly Regional Sales Meetings (review pipeline, prospecting activities, and marketing events, etc)
- Generate and maintain weekly and monthly reporting for Key Accounts.
- Facilitate and maintain successful relationships with customers
Participate with Monthly and Quarterly meetings with key clients
Prepare quarterly Customer Scorecards
Represent XKIG at trade shows and conferences
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual (internal) Management Reports
Track prospecting activities and opportunities in CRM
Monitor Bid Boards for potential bidding opportunities.
Work with Contracts Department to ensure rate increases and renewal bids are submitted as required.
Other projects and functions as assigned by the Director, Business Development
