Candidates must be able to work either June 2nd to August 8th or June 23rd to August 29th.
For Summer 2025, our program will be hybrid from our downtown San Francisco office.
Interns will come into the San Francisco office weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and work from home every Monday and Friday. Summary : The Global Educational Consumer Product Strategy intern will be fully integrated into the day-to-day activities of the Education team.
In addition, you will be responsible for leading an individual project that will be presented to Senior Leadership at the end of the summer. Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy :
- Integrate diverse consumer perspectives into the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product development and marketing teams for insights and feedback.
- Educational Content :
- Create and refine product guides, training modules, and presentations.
- Ensure content aligns with brand messaging and appeals to diverse audiences.
- Operational Support :
- Support the rollout of live training sessions.
- Label and prepare boxes for shipping according to company guidelines.
- Inventory Management
- Collaborate with the EDU team to understand shipment schedules and priorities.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely delivery of packages.
- Data Analysis :
- Collect and analyze data to measure educational initiatives' impact.
- Prepare reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.
- Collaboration :
- Work with cross-functional teams, including consumer experience, global communication, and product development.
- Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Product Research & Insights :
- Conduct market research on trends, preferences, and competitive products.
- Collect and interpret consumer feedback for product development.
- Assist in developing and evaluating product prototypes. Qualifications :
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Education, Product Development or a related field.
- Passion for the beauty industry and a strong interest in product strategy and marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research & analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with research, data analysis, and project management software is a plus.
