CMM Operator - Part time Location: Grand Rapids, MI, 49512 Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CMM Operator to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience in CMM operations and be able to accurately measure and inspect parts using a Coordinate Measuring Machine.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CMM equipment to measure parts according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on CMM machines to ensure accuracy
- Analyze measurement data and generate reports for quality control purposes
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any quality issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Previous experience with CMM operations required
- Preferred experience with Hexagon Global CMM
- Ability to run PC-DMIS CMM software and Data Page Suite
- Familiar with reading blueprints and working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of GD&T principles
