Here’s the scoop:

The Membership Manager is the go-to problem solver, revenue driver, and brand experience champion for our Kenect members. The Membership manager role is responsible for Kenect Nashville and occasionally Kenect Phoenix’s coworking operations and community management, including the oversight of resident and member events programming, membership and amenity sales strategy to achieve sales and occupancy goals. This role is best filled by someone that is energized by people, works well in a team, and enjoys building relationships. The Membership Manager is proud to represent Kenect in the national market, regularly connecting to the broader business community and actively identifies potential members so that we can fulfill Kenect’s Mission to help people connect to each other, their community and beyond.

What this opportunity entails:

  • Responsible for the management and oversight of the membership spaces including coworking area, office pods, amenity areas, membership events and programming.
  • Develop and lead membership sales strategy and sets KPI’s for multisite operations, initially optimizing Kenect Nashville and Kenect Phoenix’s monthly targets in line with budgetary goals and NOI.
  • Assist and co-manage Nashville and Phoenix’s Leasing and Membership Coordinators with the onsite Leasing Managers to meet membership sales goals.
  • Manage membership team schedule, membership payroll and commissions with oversight from the Executive Directors.
  • Lead, manage, and maintain membership systems and SOPs, specifically Yardi Kube, in coordination with Sr. Director of Brand Membership. Work with Executive Directors and corporate team to train and onboard all newly hired team members and ongoing education as needed as it relates to memberships and membership systems
  • Identifies and advises Executive Director and Director of Facilities of maintenance requests and/or significant operational issues or member requests. Ensuring they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee and manage vendors specific to the coworking relating to the membership spaces in both Nashville and Phoenix, including printer rentals and inventory management throughout the space while maintaining budgetary goals.
  • Lead amenity rental sales process for members and outside clients, ensuring all amenity agreements are completed, invoices are paid, and vendor information/COIs are collected in line with SOPs Create tour experience for prospective members and train team to lead tours on a daily basis.
  • Analyze competitors quarterly to provide updated pricing recommendations, sales incentives, and service recommendations in both the Phoenix and Nashville markets. Researches, proposes, and manages initiatives necessary to keep abreast of the current changes within the industry by attending internal and external training programs.
  • Reach and maintain low delinquency ratios and operational occupancy velocity thresholds as established. Manage membership accounts and maintain minimal delinquency levels.
  • Oversee membership team’s management and coordination of signature events and programming initiatives for members and residents. Ensure that all administrative tasks, COIs and vendor services agreements are accurately completed.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local vendors and businesses for cross marketing, event activations, and to grow exposure of Kenect.
  • Attend local networking events and relevant expos to keep up on marketing and event trends.
  • Keep Google Business profiles updated monthly with new property pictures and relevant information.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of the community’s operating budget and monitor monthly financial performance of the Membership business unit.
  • Serve as point of contact for any/all membership questions, troubleshooting, or requests throughout the day. Ensure onsite teams are adequately trained to handle daily coworking and membership issues.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • A minimum of 2 years of coworking operations and management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in membership, community-focused, or hospitality environment.
  • Comfortable with Google Drive, One Drive, Office, Teams, or similar platforms.
  • Comfortable with learning new software packages.
  • Comfortable with financial projections and budgeting.
  • Experience managing employees either directly or indirectly, including hiring and terminating processes
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic
  • Identify talent to recruit and retain long term employees
  • Flexible work schedule beyond the standard Monday through Friday work week for tours or event coverage.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ideal candidate has experience with Yardi Kube as an operating system
  • This is an ONSITE ROLE .
  • Ability to travel as needed to Kenect locations – approximately 20%
