- FULL-TIME QIDP (_Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional)Position in Denton!_
Kenmar Residential Services has been serving the IDD population in the ICF and HCS programs for 37 years. We value our relationships and foster a family environment.
We are looking to add an additional QIDP to our team! We are looking for a motivated, positive, self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for coordination & quality assurance of all services for consumers in the assigned region; management of employees in the assigned region; oversight of the facility physical conditions; Ensures delivery of quality support services and maintaining program, documentation and curriculum development for all individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Ensures survey readiness of caseload within HHSC guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures on-going active treatment
- Conduct annual, new admission, and discharge staffings.
- Coordinates consultant services such as psychological, social worker, etc.
- Maintains good communications with families and guardians as needed, but at least quarterly.
- Maintains individual program plans and objectives.
- Responsible for program reviews.
- Monitors and maintains compliance with life safety code/ICF standards/ICF requirements.
- Maintains quality of care provided to consumers as prescribed by applicable standards.
- Participates in annual state/federal surveys
- Provides programmatic instruction, including necessary training of residential directors in respective facilities
- Observes all safety rules and regulations maintaining a healthy and safe environment at all times for the Consumers
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required (in a social service-related field preferred) and at least one year experience working with developmentally disabled adults
- The ability to deal with concepts and complicated subject matter
- Efficient and Effective Communication skills: both written and oral
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
- Valid Texas Driver’s license and good driving record
