What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Teacher position at Kennedy Center?

The Kennedy center has been around for over 50 years and our mission is to provide quality child care to children in the surrounding Boston area-primarily those who are in low/modest income families.
We serve children from 15 months old to 5 years in programs including Early Head Start, Head Start preschool, and Boston UPK. We are looking for Head Start qualified teachers, which requires an early education Associate's Degree or higher.
Our wage scale is competitive and provides increases for adding degrees/credentials related to early education. Through partnerships with Head Start and other agencies we provide resources to assist with high needs children, such as social emotional learning supports, coaching, play therapy and occupational therapy or speech/language interventions.
