Job Brief:
We are looking for a high-performing sales manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team's potential, collaborating on sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management.
Responsibilities
- Develop authentic relationships with customers by assessing their needs, making personalized product recommendations, and creating a memorable experience
- Cultivate in-depth knowledge of products and provide product knowledge, features, and benefits to all customers when presenting merchandise
- Connect with existing and potential customers and maintain customer information utilizing company-supported technology
- Inspect and clean customers' jewelry and consult on repairs for jewelry
- Understand and utilize policies and procedures for handling customer transactions and solving customer service issues appropriately.
- Perform store set-up and closing operations, including opening and closing the office area and moving jewelry to and from the store safe and display areas.
- Perform basic store maintenance, merchandising, and other required activities to keep the store clean, safe, and inviting.
- Manage, coach, and develop the best performance from each individual on the team
- Clearly communicate goals, assign the team individual ownership, and hold team members accountable for results
- Ensure, motivate, and present opportunities to each team member to develop and learn new skills ongoing
- Ensure that each team member has the necessary resources to do his/her job well.
- Be a champion for the company culture.
- Set the tone for the company’s commitment to delivering a great customer experience.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, customer service experience, a proven record of meeting and exceeding sales goals, demonstrated integrity and professionalism, being well organized with an eye for detail, and a professional demeanor and appearance are required.
- Successful experience as a retail sales associate or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- Must have personal integrity
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
