Job Details Dispatcher (Relief)-Jefferson Health Cherry Hill- Varied Days/Hours needed- 12 Hour shifts. The shifts are 5am-5pm or 1130a-1130pm. Weekend shifts are 7:00am-7:00pm Job Description Job Summary Responsible for overall street operations of vehicles and drivers. Responsible to take transports from emails/phone calls. Prioritize transport by availability, staffing and request urgency. Responsible to dispatch runs to the drivers in a timely and effective manner. Check computer current and future transports for accuracy. Knows where field staff is at all times. Fields telephone calls on multi-line phone system. Communicates problems and issues to supervisors. Assumes the driver’s role when necessary. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required): Ability to read and communicate in the English language. Strong organizational and communication skills. Service Excellence – Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques, ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner Accuracy and Attention to Detail – Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail, ability to process information with high levels of accuracy Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma Required Dispatch experience required.
