What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning & Development Contractor position at Kennedy Wilson?
This position will be employed through Headway consulting firm working remotely throughout the US.
The Learning and Development (L&D) Contractor will be responsible for coordinating the successful development, piloting, and launch of a new AI-driven Skills software solution within our internal LMS. This includes spearheading communications with the LMS provider, ensuring timely updates to the Sr. Dir. of Learning & Development, and managing a smooth implementation process, including testing with pilot groups. Additionally, this role will provide key instructional design support, building, developing, and deploying custom courses using multiple authoring tools. The L&D Contractor collaborates closely with the Learning & Development Director and team to support and coordinate training efforts to create and implement new training across the entire organization.
The contractor will also serve as a vital resource to the Learning & Development team, stepping in to ensure continuity during a team member’s family leave. This position requires strong project management, communication, and instructional design skills to meet the diverse needs of the role effectively.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Project Management
- Own communication with our external LMS provider to learn about all steps of software implementation.
- Develop a timeline for Skills launch, including testing with pilot groups.
- Work with both L&D and LMS provider to deploy every step of software implementation with enthusiasm and innovation.
- Manage online learning communities within our LMS and in Slack and respond to questions and feedback from learners.
- Communicate with Dir. of L&D and team consistently and effectively with updates and any flags, when necessary draft communications to groups within the organization regarding launch of Skills software and updates.
