Job Scope : This role involves providing administrative support to psychiatric providers in a community behavioral health setting. Clinical administrative assistants review and respond to incoming voicemail, faxes, and electronic communications relating to prescription refill requests, lab results, and prior authorizations. This role involves communication with pharmacies, other providers, clients, etc. as needed. This position also provides backup coverage for client service representatives, which includes greeting clients and visitors who enter the lobby, answering and routing incoming calls, appointment scheduling for psychiatric providers, accepting payments for client accounts.
Primary Responsibilities :
Use electronic client management system to schedule clients for follow-up appointments with psychiatric providers at prescribed intervals.
Greet clients when they enter the lobby.
