What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping/Laundry Attendant position at Kennewick Inn & Suites?
Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like pack and plays, extra pillows, extra towels, etc.
Maintains inventory of necessary stock on cleaning carts.
Reports necessary maintenance items thru the supervisor.
Follows departmental policies and procedures.
Follows all safety and sanitation policies
Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
Performs additional duties as needed.
Excellent time management skills to adhere to allotted room times.
Other duties as assigned to ensure the guests have an optimal experience
Responsibilities
· Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
· Ensure all rooms are cared for and ready for inspection according to standards
· Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
· Notify supervisor on any damages, deficits, disturbances, and lost and found
· Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
· Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
· Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
