KENT® Precision Foods Group, a member of the KENT Corporation family of companies, has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as a Maintenance Mechanic - Dry Blend Manufacturing responsible for making sure all packaging equipment and machinery is running properly!This position is designed and intended to be performed in New Sharon, IA.Primary Responsibilities : Installation, repair, and replacement of equipment in all areas of operations.Perform preventative maintenance.Electrical / Pneumatic / Mechanical / Machining / Plumbing / Fabricating / Welding / Grinding basic skills.Ability to read blueprints and basic schematics.Ability to safely use all shop equipment.Assists in maintaining accurate and organized parts inventory.Ability to create and complete work orders in a computer system.Follow safety procedures and be an example of "safety" to coworkers.Assist with cleanings and / or change overs of production equipment.Job Requirements : Minimum of 2 years in similar position or has demonstrated aptitude.Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds including above head and below the waist for 50% or more of shift.Ability to stand for long periods.Must be able to work at line speed with the ability to make coordinated hand and finger movements.
