The Role

From onboarding new talent and managing benefit enrollments to ensuring seamless payroll processing and maintaining accurate employment records, youll be at the heart of our people operations.
In this role, youll also champion initiatives that foster employee engagement and strengthen our organizational culture. Working closely with the Talent Development Manager, youll proactively assess evolving employee needs and help implement impactful changes that support growth and success across the organization.
Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, youll enjoy a diverse role that may also include special projects and administrative or financial tasks that align with department goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage payroll processing, review employee contributions/deductions, and facilitate payroll changes.
Manage Open Enrollment procedures, content and activities to assist with employee communication/education on benefit matters; process benefit changes and ensure benefits are managed equitably and accurately across the agency.
Serve as lead support for employee leave administration, processing documentation, determining eligibility, and providing guidance to employees and managers regarding FMLA/WC/LOA procedures.
Provide support with employee performance management and progressive discipline review.
Support the agencys onboarding and orientation process; provide onboarding details to new hires, facilitate orientation process, and provide onboarding account access for employment matters.
Work alongside Director of Human Resources and VP of Human Resources to support compensation & benefits program design.
Experience and Skills
Bachelors degree.
2 years in human resources administration.
Experience with HRIS administration and reporting.
Demonstrated experience with payroll processing and benefit enrollment.
General knowledge of leave administration laws, processes and reporting.
Demonstrated experience with benefit plan review and enrollment management.
SHRM-CP or related HRCI certification preferred.
General knowledge of employment law and policy administration.
Project management certification preferred.

Working Conditions & Capabilities
Varied and flexible to include office conditions (telephone, computer, etc.), external companies and businesses, at the employment location, facility-based workshop or the homes of the person served, etc. Must perform the job tasks of the person served to provide and utilize effective training techniques. Staffing needs and operational demands may necessitate variations in starting and ending times, as well as variations in the total hours that may be scheduled each day and week, and the location(s) of the work assignment.
