Position Description
Position Title : Assistant Aquatics Director
Certification : CPR / AED / O2
Department : Community Education
Reports to : Aquatics Director
SUMMARY : The focus of the Assistant Aquatics Director is to provide a safe environment for and maximize the efficient use of the Oakestown School pool, as well as the surrounding areas. This role focuses on the development, promotion and support of quality community education and school programs in a caring environment.
TRAINING & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
- American Red Cross "Lifeguard" certification, CPR & First Aid certification, CPO (Chemical Pool Operator) Certification, LGI (Lifeguard Instructor) and WSI (Water Safety Instruction) Certification.
- USA Swim Coach Certification.
- Knowledge of, experience in and training for pool operation and maintenance.
- Computer literate.
