Immediate Career Posting for WCKQ FM, WGRK FM, WTCO AM / FM, WAIN FM, WAIN AM / FM Kentucky’s largest small market radio and digital marketing group is actively seeking its newest General Sales Manager for its Campbellsville / Greensburg and Columbia, Kentucky radio markets. Forcht Broadcasting Radio & Digital serves nine radio markets with 26 radio stations in Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois.
Qualified candidates should have at least 2 years of sales experience, with experience in media and digital marketing sales preferred. Having a post-secondary degree in business, marketing, or communications is preferred but is not a requirement to submit a resume for the career opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Understand broadcast radio and digital marketing strategies and how both work together to develop effective advertising solutions.
- Develop, manage, and oversee successful advertising and marketing solutions and campaigns for clients using multi-media platforms.
- Meet monthly sales goals and assist the markets’ General Manager in creating and meeting monthly market goals.
- Engage in professional development opportunities provided and paid for by Forcht Broadcasting, which includes taking online digital marketing courses from the Radio Advertising Bureau.
- Find new advertising partners and set appointments for advertising solutions meetings with new clients.
- Represent Forcht Broadcasting at various community activities and meetings such as chamber of commerce meetings and ribbon-cutting ceremonies.
- Manage all sales aspects of both radio markets.
- Ability to work in two radio markets within a 20-mile distance of one another.
Compensation will reflect sales and work experience. A competitive package will be offered to qualified candidates.
