ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE.
The Kentucky River Area Development District, an eight- county planning and development agency, is accepting applications for an Associate Director of Finance. This position is responsible for directing the administrative and financial activities of the Finance Department including supervision of staff, coordination of financial activities with other KRADD departments and preparation of financial analysis of the agency’s operations in conformance with generally accepted accounting principles.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred. Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, public, and elected officials. Must be able to work under pressure and against frequent deadlines with little or no supervision. Ability to accept responsibility along with its demand and consequences. Must possess analytical ability, tact, initiative, resourcefulness, and sound judgement.
