Procurement Legal team, managing the attorneys in those regions responsible for providing legal support to Kenvue's Operations & Procurement functions (including support for supply chain, logistics, direct and indirect procurement including R&D, real estate and other operational areas), including goal setting and performance feedback.You will support the Global Operations & Procurement Counsel in identifying emerging skills and capabilities required by the Operations & Procurement Legal team, and mentor, train, and upskill team members.You will implement a global strategic framework and legal support model for Kenvue's Operations & Procurement functions in the NA and LatAm regions, in collaboration with Global Operations & Procurement Counsel and relevant Operations & Procurement leaders.You will lead and co-ordinate legal support on a global Category-centric basis for one or more Procurement Categories (including advising on Category-relevant issues from a legal, contracting, and strategic perspective, driving appropriate sourcing and contracting strategies), and collaborate with Kenvue's Procurement organization, and other members of the Kenvue Legal & Compliance function, to improve the end-to-end contracting process.You will lead, or act as a subject matter expert for, complex and material supplier negotiations, partnering with Kenvue Procurement Category, Regional or Sourcing Operations teams and other functional experts to support, draft and negotiate high value regional or global transactions (up to and including multi-million-dollar agreements).You will advise and support relevant business stakeholders across the Operations & Procurement function, in the assessment and management of potential disputes with suppliers, working with Kenvue's Litigation team where necessary.You will deliver legal and contracting training, create, harmonize and rationalize contracting playbooks and templates, identify and adopt best practices, and support process, systems and governance improvements (or integrate those Categories into global frameworks, where available).You will support the deployment of new technologies, training and escalation procedures and partner with relevant Operations & Procurement teams to ensure that Kenvue policies and processes are applied consistently to protect Kenvue's business interests and ensure sustainable business growth.You will resolve legal, operational & contractual issues escalated by other Operations & Procurement Legal team members, and collaborate with attorneys, business partners, and subject matter experts, as appropriate, to assess Kenvue's risk profile and ensure compliance with Kenvue policies.You will work closely with members of Kenvue's Legal & Compliance team to mitigate risk in the contracting process and ensure that all legal, regulatory, privacy, cybersecurity and other considerations are taken into account and managed appropriately.You will recruit, hire, and train additional NA & LatAm Operations & Procurement Legal team members and / or contractors where required.What we are looking forRequired QualificationsJuris Doctor degree, and admission to the bar (in good standing) in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, or equivalent in Canada or a relevant Latin America jurisdiction.Minimum of 12 years of corporate law experience at a top-tier law firm and / or in-house law department with experience in drafting and negotiating complex contractual arrangements in direct and indirect procurement categories such as external manufacturing, chemicals, packaging, logistics, corporate services, marketing, media or R&D.At least 3 years of people leadership experience, preferably with multiple direct reports.Superior virtual team working and organizational skills, including strong communication (with the ability to make the complex simple), collaboration, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with experience in a fast-paced matrix and international environment.Excellent collaborative skills along with strong ethical leadership, including the ability to coordinate seamlessly with other Kenvue attorneys, external counsel, business leaders, Operations & Procurement Legal counterparts, functional experts, and other advisors.Attention to detail and the ability to effectively identify, assess and mitigate risks appropriately within business context.A global mindset, a focus on teamwork, and the skills to work across business functions and cultures with teams located in multiple geographies and time zones are also required for the role.Desired QualificationsConsumer products and / or Healthcare experience, from an Operations, Supply Chain or Procurement perspective, including dealing with global / multi-country operations.Strong procurement experience across multiple Categories, dealing with high value agreements in multiple geographies, with good understanding of Procurement processes.What's - Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $160k to $260k. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
