Description
- Keep current with new products and promotions.
- Manage existing customers. Seek and develop new customers. This includes personal visits to existing and potential new customers in an assigned territory.
- This position will involve moderate travel, with the expectation of visiting various locations, meeting clients, and attending events as needed to support sales efforts and build customer relationships.
- Learn the Kenworth truck specing process, proposal development, order completion, and deal closure procedures.
- Be an effective administrator and have the ability to communicate.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience with heavy duty trucks highly desirable. Sales experience with automobiles and/or heavy equipment will also be considered.
- Excellent customer service experience and strong communication skills. Must be reliable, friendly, customer focused and team oriented.
- Strong ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently, proficiency in computer skills, and robust organizational skills are a must.
- Class B or A CDL (including manual shift transmissions) is preferred upon hire. A minimum of a CDL learner’s permit will be required within six months of employment
