Visiting Position in the Department of Biology
Kenyon College invites applications for a two-year visiting position in the Department of Biology starting in July 2024.
We seek a broadly trained biologist who can contribute to teaching and student mentoring in the introductory curriculum and in upper-level courses in the area of Microbiology. The teaching expectations include five courses per year, including introductory lecture and/or laboratory courses as well as Microbiology and other existing courses or new courses at the upper level.
Teaching Responsibilities
- Lecture and laboratory courses in introductory biology
- Upper-level courses in Microbiology and Cell Biology
- New courses at the upper level
The department has a strong commitment to faculty mentoring and helping visitors achieve their career goals. Opportunities exist for collaborative research with students.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in Biology or a related field.
